The Hotel Elefant is located in the middle of the historic Old Town of Salzburg.<\/p>\n

For a more quiet stay, the pedestrian zone is controlled by traffic bollards, but hotel drive-in to unload is possible any time.<\/p>\n

Please contact the hotel for a drive-in code.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Public transportation<\/strong><\/p>\n

From the Salzburg main TRAIN STATION<\/strong> take a taxi (approx. 10 min.) or bus # 3, 5, 6 or 25 until exit \u201cRathaus\u201d (first stop after crossing the bridge).<\/p>\n

We are situated on the backside of the building at the bus stop.<\/p>\n

From the AIRPORT<\/strong> you can take a taxi (approx. 15 min.) or public bus # 10 to the center until stop \u201cHanusch Platz\u201d.<\/p>\n

Arrival by car
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Parking<\/strong> is available for a special hotel rate in \u201cAltstadtgarage B\u201d, inside the \u201cM\u00f6nchsberg\u201d. The entrance is at \u201cHildmannplatz 1\u201d.<\/p>\n

If you are traveling with light luggage, we recommend to park the car first and then walk to the hotel. Via exit \u201cToscaninihof\u201d, it is about 5 minutes walking distance.<\/p>\n

If you want to drive to the hotel<\/strong> to unload, you have to drive to the \u201cStaatsbr\u00fccke\u201d, the main bridge in the center of Salzburg. After crossing the bridge you drive straight ahead into the archway to the pedestrian zone.<\/p>\n

If you should arrive from the \u201cFranz Josef Kai\u201d \/ \u201cHanusch Platz\u201d side, after the traffic light before the bridge turn sharply to the right into the archway and stop in front of the bollard.<\/p>\n

Under the arch, on the left wall, you have to enter the drive-in code from the hotel to lower the bollards. Don’t follow a car in front of you, use your own code!<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you do not have a code, there is an intercom button to call the hotel.<\/p>\n

After lowering the bollard, drive straight on, next left and right into the \u201cSigmund<\/p>\n

Haffner Gasse \u201d. You are at our hotel now, where you can stop to unload.<\/p>\n
